42 replies on “3ABN Women's Ordination Survey RESULTS (Updated 2014-08-25 9:33 am PST)”
Wow! Very interesting, and the majority that answered were women too.
Probably 20 years ago or more I received considerable pressure type mail from a group of women in Redding, California that were promoting women as being ordained etc.
At the time I was turned off by this group of women — I can’t help but think it might have been this group that started this whole debate!
Yes, I am a female. Also I was the first women in our church to be asked to be an Elder (they said wanted to start with someone the church had respect etc. for). I turned it down (probably 20 years or so ago). There is a place for women — but please, let the men not get in the background — they just might start saying “Well, just let the women do it if they want to so bad!” I have held many, many offices in our local church and there is plenty of places for women!
I am so saddened that those who disagree with ordinating women into pastoral leadership try to manipulate others against women’s ordination also by suggesting that “if we let women in then it will be the homosexuals next!” This is such fear-mongering nastiness and unbecoming of people who call themselves Christians. It is interesting that a question regarding this is in this survey and revealing that the manipulation is working on those who are propogating this argument. I am not suggesting for one minute that the persons who organised this survey are trying to manipulate. I’m thinking that the question is to determine how successfully or not this false argument has made headway. Thank you for this platform to express our views. May God oversee and protect all who are called by God for ministry. And may God forgive those who set out to block those who are called by God without realising that is what they are doing, i.e. “Forgive them father for they know not what they do.” Sincerely, Marion Duncan, trained pastor in the Seventh-day Adventist Church.
Sister Marion Duncan… It all comes down to two points in this issue no matter how hard Satan tries to manipulate. According to the words given by Apostolic authority from God to the church do you believe God is a misogynist? I mean come on lets face it, the way the words are written is pretty harsh in this regards to women. God said through Paul in 1 Corinthians 14:34 “the women should keep silent in the churches. For they are not permitted to speak, but should be in submission, as the Law also says.”
“THE LAW ALSO SAYS!” Paul is speaking to the Christian Church and saying the law still applies to this issue. So as the commandment keeping church should we be fighting against the law?
This is the biggest issue… The Holy Spirit was with the Apostles greater than any before them, and God spoke through them, yet you think you have greater authority to reinterpret the words that God spoke through them? That seems absolutely absurd.
The remnant will forensically have every particular element in it’s makeup as the first on the bolt did. They will emulate Christ so perfectly that EVERYONE will know their place. So when a bunch of liberally minded people come into the remnant church nad try to change it into their image they are crossing the line and God deals with those who manipulate His church very sternly. That is why the words seem harsh in scripture. God couldn’t have been more emphatic… but you all know better right? I mournfully exclaim shame on those who do such things.
And please understand, I am a man who takes every thought of my wife into careful loving consideration in every point of our lives, and I answer every question and even learn from her… but when it comes to the sanctuary she knows what scripture says and she obeys God in honoring me as her head… and she is very blessed in doing so. We have the ideal Christian marriage and we couldn’t be happier. So how is that wrong? Especially since the biblical evidence proves that is how it should be.
We can only pray for these people and that more people will see the truth. Are we really supposed to follow culture and what other churches are doing rather than living God’s Word? Just as Adam was the head of Eve, so Christ is the head of the church. Allowing WO will only bring trouble. Decisions should be based on “Thus saith the Lord.” And people should stop misquoting/misusing the Bible and Ellen White’s writings for their own warped agenda.
Sister Duncan, I agree and I hope that prayerfully our church, founded by God working through Ellen White, a woman, will finally ordain women and not stand in the way of the Holy Spirit. Many need to take another look at Peter’s vision and the church meeting that followed. Still praying for my church leaders. SF
If I may Marion Duncan we are admonished to take God’s word as it is written when it is quite plain. Why should the church of today ignore Paul’s God inspired words to Timothy regarding those who are to be the bishop/overseer/pastor/elders of local churches? Paul made it clear it was NOT a suggestion. He wrote “a bishop MUST BE the HUSBAND of one wife!” Can a woman be the husband of one wife??
hi Marion. fortunately the bible is clear about the issue. there ar3 different ministries women can take part in. being an elder or a pastor is not the only 2. all the best
Marian, as one who publicaly argues the very thing that you say is manipoulative, nasty, fear-mongering, and false, I want to point you to two lines of evidence that could benefit you. The first, which you could investigate further on your own is the argument of factual historical development. Simply investigate when and in which order the Episcopal Church, ELCA Lutheran, Church of Canada, American Baptist, United Methodist, etcetera., adopted WO and where they presently are in terms of acceptance of homosexual sin. Factual and actual historical development of the positions and practices of these and other groups shows the concern to be VERY well founded. This is not a guessing game.
But I wanted to point you to the theological reasons for this which so far seem to have eluded you. Last year I prepared a series of eight studies particularly exploring the theology behind WO. These are found at these links:
http://ordinationtruth.com/featured/kirl-fwo-pt1/ “Orientation to the Scriptures”
http://ordinationtruth.com/featured/kirl-fwo-pt2/ “First Wave Feminist Theolkogy”
http://ordinationtruth.com/featured/kirl-fwo-pt3/ “Liberation Theology”
http://ordinationtruth.com/featured/kirl-fwo-pt4/ “Second Wave Feminist Theology”
http://ordinationtruth.com/featured/kirl-fwo-pt5/ “Homosexual Theological Entailments”
http://ordinationtruth.com/featured/kirl-fwo-pt6/ “Evangelical Feminism”
http://ordinationtruth.com/featured/kirl-fwo-pt7/ “Feminist Theology in Adventism”
http://ordinationtruth.com/featured/kirl-fwo-pt8/ “Last Bits, On Unity, Conclusion”
I believe you could find the series very helpful. It might help you or other readers to understand the quite substantial theological basis for these concerns. Ideas have consequences and how we approach the Bible determines where we land in actual practice. Please let these materials open a door for your own study. But know that myself and others do not express our concerns (that the adoption of WO will lead to the endorsement of homosexual sin by the church) from a feeling or an uninformed opinion. We have investigated and thought about it very carefully. At least in speaking for myself, I fully own what I am doing. I make the argument consciously, lucidly, intentionally, with eyes open.
Greetings, Unto the Brethren,
and the “World Church”.
I seriously Believe, that there is an Achan, in the Seventh – Day Adventist Camp! We have some pastors that are taking it upon themselves, as if they have the right, and the Liberty, to “Ordained” Females, into the ministry. They Don’t!
These Pastor’s whomever they may be, are trying to treat the Gospel of Jesus Christ as if it is a “DEMOCRACY”! And…. IT IS NOT!
According, to the General Conference of Seventh – Day Adventist; the “World Church”, has not given any Pastor such “Authorization” to ordain any “Female”!
The same thing goes for “Homosexuality” and Same Sex Marriages to co-exist in the church. Under the banner, “that we all have “SINNED”, and come short of the glory of “GOD” as a loophole to allow such membership in the church, living in open “SIN”. This is of the “Spirit of Satan!
However, the problem is, that it appears that the
“World Church” has somehow; allowed the “Beast” the United States Federal Government. Drag the Gospel of “Jesus Christ” up-under the Constitution of the United States; as one of its Principalities of the Government, (that being the United States Supreme Court,) and its Executor of the Constitution.
“Adjudicate” upon Christianity, its Constitutional Laws of the worlds “Civil Rights”, by declaring Females and the flagrant acts of Homosexuality, and Same Sex Marriages, as a “Civil Right” into a CIVIL LAW that go against Christianity and the church, of Jesus Christ.
Knowing that, “GOD” has never called a “Female” to the PRIESTHOOD, and neither is there any proof of “GOD” ever raising up a “FEMALE to be a “PREIST” unto “HIM”. And the “World Church” has no proof!
Nor allowed Men of alternative life styles that are against the “HOLY INSTITUTION” of Marriage that “GOD” created; to coexist where the “Gospel of Jesus” is preached in the church. Where the people come to receive forgiveness for their “SINS” and to “Surender” our lives to the Son of “GOD” because of the Sacrifice “HE” made to “Eradicate” Sin from all Of Our a Lives….
Therefore! The church, appears to be going against, the “LORD’S” Instructions, where it is written: I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.
Romans 12: 1, 2
CJ, The Seventh-day Adventist Church has not approved women’s ordination to the pastoral ministry, but on two occasions has rejected the proposal (1990, 1995). Nor does it at present accept the practice. The units of the world church which are attempting to introduce it are in a state of insubordination, which will surely be resolved in the months ahead. At the end of the day, the Bible is the basis for all our practice, not civil government. Governments come and go but the Church remains. Please pray for the leaders of the church and its unity.
Thank you so very much for clearing that up. To “GOD” be the Glory…. As overseerer’s We really have to hold on to “GODS”
unhanging Hand!
Thank You JESUS…..
I remain puzzled as to how differences over women’s ordination, which is not one of the 28 Fundamental Beliefs of the church, should be anticipated to result in a split in the church. Does anyone here think that FB #29 should explicitly embrace male headship?
Dear saints, if women ordination is unbiblical then why does Mrs White claim a day, year & place where God ordained her?, second question, why did she support the first ordination of deaconesses ever recorded in Christian history?
It would be helpful for you to give the Spirit of Prophecy reference and wording for each of your statements regarding Ellen White.
Brother Phil my apologies for taking this long to respond to your post. My family was at the pathfinder camporee in Oshkosh Wisconsin when I posted those questions/ statements if you have EG White books on your electronic device, go to EG Writings & simply type women ordination- you will find an amazing variety of her write ups on it. I will not rewrite what she wrote but if you give me your email address I will certainly forward her thoughts on the topic of ordination of women.
Here is a snippet from the EG White Estate “In 1895, Ellen White recommended the ordination of women who would give themselves to a deaconess-type work: DG 249.1
“Women who are willing to consecrate some of their time to the service of The Lord should be appointed to visit the sick, look after the young, and minister to the necessities of the poor. They should be set apart to this work by prayer and laying on of hands. In some cases they will need to counsel with the church officers or minister; but if they are devoted women, maintaining a vital connection with God, they will be a power for good in the church. This is another means of strengthening & building up the church.” The Review and Herald, July 9, 1895….
Notice it was NOT Ellen White that called it ordination, it was the book editors. Ellen White is actually very precise in her wording–she called for “the laying on of hands” to set apart “willing” and consecrated women to the specific work of visiting the sick, looking after the young, and ministering to the necessities of the poor. These were NOT church officers nor were they the minister since they may need to counsel with church officers or minister.
The term “ordination” itself–as used in every reference in the Spirit of Prophecy which I have been able to find–is a term exclusively reserved for the gospel minister. If there is a time that Ellen White used the specific term “ordination” in a different way, I would be most happy to find it.
The phrase “laying on of hands” is used in a far broader way. We pray and lay hands on the sick. We do not call this ordination but anointing. We pray and lay hands on babies. We do not call this ordination, we call this dedicating them. Physicians should be set aside by the “laying on of hands” for their specific work in gospel medical evangelism, but we have no separate term for this since we don’t really obey this instruction.
While this is somewhat of a semantic point that is being made here, precision in wording is important for clear communication. We should not blur the distinctions in the office of church overseer with the work of the physician or the tasks committed to the deacon though all should be set apart for their specific assignment by the laying on of hands.
The Bible makes the qualifications for the church overseer clear and we should continue to follow its instruction.
Third question is, why does she caution against putting too much emphasis on “the laying on of human hands”/ ordination in the church? This divisive debate does not belong to a church that believes in present truth especially that there’s a heaven to win & a hell to shun. As long as God does the ordaining fellow women let us continue to serve in the vineyard. God will use children, boys, girls whomever as He ordains, this too shall pass, Maranatha!
Again supply your references and the exact wording. It is interesting that you have placed in quotation marks, “the laying on of human hands.” Who are you quoting? The most helpful questions are those that are precise not fuzzy. If you have truth you will have “a plain thus saith the Lord” (see CW 23.1, etc) that we can then do our Berean searches to see if these things are so.
Another easy find, please go to Acts of the apostles p355,
“The Lord employs various instrumentalities for the accomplishment of His purpose, while some with special talents are chosen to devote all their energies to the work of teaching & preaching the gospel, many are called, upon whom human hands have never been laid in ordination, are called to act an important part in soul saving.”
p162 of the same book, “At a later time the rite of ordination by the laying on of hands was greatly abused; unwarranted importance was attached to the act, as if a power came at once upon those who received such ordination, which immediately qualified them for any & all ministerial work. But in the setting apart of these two apostles, there is no record indicating that any virtue was imparted by the mere act of laying on of hands. There is only the simple record of their ordination and of the bearing that it had on their future work.”
Once I have found the exact source where God Himself & NOT human hands ordained Mrs White I’ll forward it to you brother Phil.
If your point is that ordination is not necessary to work for the Lord, we are in complete agreement. That is abundantly clear in the Bible and the Spirit of Prophecy (AA 355 for example).
If your point is that “the rite of ordination” was later abused by the man of sin attaching “unwarranted importance” to the act, we would again be in complete agreement (AA 162).
I hope you understand that these points are not in dispute in the slightest.
Since (1) ordination is not necessary for men, women, old, and young to work for God and (2) ordination supplies no mystical virtue qualifying the unqualified to serve as a church overseer, what is the basis for a demand for women’s ordination?
God ordains us for service the moment we surrender to Him. However, ordination is an act that He calls the church to do (See Acts 13:2,3; AA 161.2. Note that Ellen White uses the specific term “ordination” in summarizing this passage AA 166.1). So God considers church ordination to the office of overseer important enough to command it (Acts 13:2,3) and gives the qualifications for those who are to be ordained (See 1 Tim 3:1-7; Titus 1:5-9; Also see Deut 1:13, 16,17 as noted in AA 92.2).
Thanks again Phil,
Now please enlighten me on these two points; 1. Why do you only go as far as verse 7 in chapter 3 of 1Tim? There is not a single mention of a female deaconess in all scripture. In fact, my baptist friends who adhere to the “true” original letter of the law have no such in their congregation. In fact they go as far as disqualifying any divorced pastors for service & absolutely no deaconesses.
My second question is this, the bible lists pastors as spiritual gifts, Ephesians 4:7-16… Why do we pick from this list pastors & not evangelists or another leadership roles?
The verses we quote in 1 Tim & Titus 1 address elders/ bishops/ deacons & not pastors, so why do we extrapolate to encompass pastors in that list?
Please note that the names that Mrs White quotes were in leadership, she’s making a point that God’s work goes forward because human hands do not impart any mystical virtue/ powers during ordination. This should not be a point of friction when we have present thrith ie 3 angels messages. It was not one during her days even though these introductions were made for the advancement of God’s work.
I am sad to see how people can have a problem with ordaining women. I thought God made men and women humans with equal voice, vote, power, access, and opportunity. this subject not theological. The Christians and theologian have made it so like Sunday worshipers can “prove” the Sunday is the Sabbath and truly believe that. This is a sociological problem not theological. People are confused with the meaning of equality. it is so disingenuous to say the ordaining women will open the door for same sex marriage. This is sad. They are two different subjects that do not connect. If fact when a women says that she is demeaning herself and her value. In fact homosexuality and same sex marriage has not increased since I started ordaining deaconesses.
Please tell me what is Joel 2:28 all about? God’s spirit falling all both sexes. Who am I to say that if a man gets a calling to pastor and a women gets the calling to pastor only one of them can be recognized by the church through ordination. How shameful!
Arise, shine people, His light is coming. Ordain women and men
Amen brother Bartington, I wonder what they’d say to Mrs White being the pioneer of ordaining women deacons ie deaconess?
Mrs White never accepted ordination in the SDA church and she never advocated women to be ordained as head pastors. She said the role for women in the church is as a support minister, to help other women and teach the children. There is nothing wrong with women reading scripture or giving an address, but the blessing on giving the sermon is only on those who are given the charge by God, which means MEN.
Mrs White also said that women who strive to reach a position they were not fitted for leave vacant the position they were meant for. We are seeing the results of that void now after the past 20 years of ordaining women elders.
Barrington asked: “Please tell me what is Joel 2:28 all about?”
Peter stated that Pentecost was a fulfillment of Joel’s prophesy (Acts 2:16). In the upper room the Holy Spirit was poured out on old and young, male and female, ordained and unordained.
In studying the disciples ordination (Mk 3:13-15, DA 290-297) we find some interesting points that should not be overlooked.
1. The were called to AN OFFICE (“Their office was the most important to which human beings had ever been called”–DA 291.3).
2. They had a time of training (“While Jesus was preparing the disciples for their ordination”–DA 293.2.
3. Judas pushed himself into ordination (“one who had not been summoned urged his presence among them”–DA 293.2)
4. The disciples themselves pushed Judas’s ordination (“The disciples were anxious that Judas should become one of their number”–DA 294.1)
5. The history of Judas shows what happens when culture and worldly ideas influence us in selecting overseers for God’s work (“The after history of Judas would show them the danger of allowing any worldly consideration to have weight in deciding the fitness of men for the work of God”–DA 294.2)
With the history of Judas, we should be satisfied with following the Bible’s qualifications for those called to the office of overseer.
Brother Phil, I still fail to make the connection between judas’ disqualification & females? What worldly considerations are present in women as overseers, if Christ gives them the spiritual gift of being pastors(Eph 4:7-16)?
Are we following the Catholic Church in continuing with “priests” who had to be male because they were a type of Christ? What did Christ fulfill at the cross? A follow up question is this, in the daily temple/Old Testament ministration work were there any females directly linked to the temple services? Please correct me if I’m wrong but there were none! Which leads me to believe that tied to entire service was Christ’s work on our behalf, a male child. But once Christ fulfilled all that pointed to Him & now ever ministers for us in heavenly places, Gentiles & females are active members in both public & private leadership.
So as far as I can glean from the word, ordaination by human hands of females does not go against God’s NT teachings; else think about it, as much as you stressed the deacon-type work that Mrs White supported, if God only wanted male deacons why would she even open that door, because now, we speak of full deaconesses, not female deacon-type workers? And the word deaconess is not found in the bible at all.
This is what I think is happening, one group that’s strong for ordination by human hands is just as distracted as those who stand so opposed to it. The GC leadership now has to spend precious hours researching & publishing stuff when present truth is what should be engrossing our waking hours. God wants us to go into all the world so others can have this opportunity, be it that we are male or female. Noah shows us what he did in preparation for the judgement of the antediluvian. Christ is in the most Holy place about to stand & we discuss whether females should be kept out of public ministry by ordination?
Please in answering my questions & observations do not attribute what I say to being against God’s remnant church/ teachings or against the bible or a feminist which I’m not. We need to avoid attributing to the devil the works of Christ because that is tantamount to blaspheming the Holy Spirit. Remember that Christ would never squashed a seeking heart & only He can read the intentions of our hearts.
Ziyanda, Thank you for your question on spiritual gifts.
The disciples were called to an OFFICE (DA 291). To function in the office these men would need certain gifts. One of the gifts they needed was the gift of being a shepherd (pastor). All in the OFFICE of overseer/gospel minister need the gift of shepherding, but there are many, many non-overseers who also need this gift. For example all women need this gift in shepherding (pastoring) their children, etc. Teachers need this gift in caring for their students. But though the teacher has been given the GIFT of shepherding, this does not make the teacher qualified for the OFFICE of overseer/gospel minister.
Ziyanda, you complain that both sides are distracted by WO. And yet, as we look round the Christian landscape, we see those churches which have failed to maintain clarity in letting Scripture interpret Scripture, falling over themselves in a rush to accept same-sex unions which is the politically-correct flavor-of-the-month. Lives are being destroyed; the witness of Christianity is being compromised.
It is not a distraction to seek to be true to the Bible and to exercise care before adopting new approaches to Scripture which would forever change what we are as a people. My own preference is that the church would never have weakened to the place where we would be considering a practice which is contradictory to 2 Timothy 2:12, 13 and 3:2 etc. I would rather be preaching the Third Angel’s Message and its more basic components as we are called to be a countercultural, prophetic movement. Alas, the Church is in the emergency that it is, and all faithful Adventists need to step up and come to a better understanding so that we can come into line with heaven and live out the Present Truth of Scripture to the glory of Jesus. WO is indeed a side-issue; the larger issue, is how we approach the Bible. For this reason, I believe that the church is called at this time to refreshed clarity on the topics OrdinationTruth.com is addressing. the approach I would suggest to you, is to study carefully. Peruse not only pro-WO articles but look at articles offer from a Bible standpoint views that oppose women’s ordination. See if these things are so or not by personal study.
“And I saw Hell opened and there was Satan himself, smiling a smug, satisfied little smile,- Or was it a smirk, saying:
“As long as they have time and energy to continue this ‘wonderful’ discussion I won’t have to worry about them going out and FINISHING the WORK and prepare themselves and others for the dreaded consumation of history and the
end of ME
Ulla, have you really thought this through? While it is true that WO is a side-topic so to speak, the underlying issues are of immense moment. Many denominations have faltered, split, and given up their Scriptural witness after adopting the theological changes in biblical intepretation necesary to open the way for WO. The church’s relation to Scripture is no small topic or subpoint. If we focus on verbal evangelizing while in practical living we deny the same gospel, we have nothing and forsake our God-given mission. Actually, unless we investigate and resolve WO from a biblical standpoint, we will be prolonging the existence of sin and Satan. Watch the DON MACKINTOSH video on this site which addresses this question.
I am sadden by the fact that the world church would have settled this issued already and it is still pushing its ugly head up.
They refuse to let go until they have ripped the church apart. But it is awesome to see that the majority in the church still sees this issue in light of scripture according to this survey. That lifted my hope for the church. But I am beginning to think the conspiracy theorists may be on to something when they say we have been infiltrated by those who want to change our church.
Ellen White said that independent ministries should not be allowed to exist in amongst our church denomination, but later when she died, there arose thousands of independent ministries! Yet our church has not had fallen! Those who will want to find a stumbling block to run away will finally find away to cause problems in the church.Others yet will speculate other questions that women ordination will bring Sunday law etc! Let’s be assured that women ordination is not about gay married coming next, God is in control of His church, let the surveyors not incline their preconceived believes and let them not chose vague questions under survey!
My proposal would be let this who are on neutral ground regarding this teaching be at the survey committee rather than putting those who have been facilitating against women ordination! I guess, some pastors on the survey committee are manipulating the discussion to their own interests! I strongly object the presence of some committee members! Let them be observers rather than facilitators, that’s my humble sanctified opinion!!!
I agree that the WO issue is just the tip of the iceberg. The promoting of such is a symptom of a much greater problem, that being the culture eclipsing the authority of God’s Word. You will notice that the divisions that promote WO all have something in common. They promote all the cultural methods of music, church planting, and worldly marketing of the church. It is also interesting that the divisions that promote WO are stagnant in terms of church growth. This is evidence of the Laodicean condition and the desperate attempt to do some new thing to create church growth. To ordain women as pastors only exacerbates the problem by dividing the church.
Dear brethren, Do you believe the women’s ordination issue may lead to a division within the Adventist Church? Yes: 82.68% (3228 ballots)
No: 17.32% (676 ballots)
Total answering: 3904 it will be the result (Division). if is yes or not. because those who said not will not agree with those who said yes.
for sure those people who say yes for women’s ordination be allow, will be separated with those who say not .
does the spirit of division come from God? 1 Cor. 12:25
Rm.16:17-20. God appeal for union not division 1 Cor.1:10, the spirit of division it does not come from God, i’m not saying that i agree or disagree whit women’s ordination, but i have faith and i believe that the Lord will manifest His will to His people, as He made me to understand it. Isaiah 14:13 “For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north”
I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north”, look at the sanctuary where is the throne in the north, THE TABLE FOR THE SHOWBREAD what it does mean? the word of God. Satan is attacking the Church with these issue so that we can not focus in the mission of God. whatever decision come from the General Conference will be the word of God. GOD WILL MANIFEST HIS WILL… Brothers and Sisters “For the love of Christ constraineth us; because we thus judge, that if one died for all, then were all dead”2 Corinthians 5:14 even if you agree or not remain faithful in the Lord your God, it is all about your salvation that is matter for Jesus. 2 Corinthians 13:14 “The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Ghost, be with you all. Amen.”
Not only were the majority that voted against women’s ordination women but the majority is also from the USA, the division of SDA that is leading the push for ordination of women.
The manner by which the final decision is proposed to be based is not consistent with teachings. The Bible is not based on democracy. Democracy is based on what the people want and the Bible is based on what God wants for His people. So lets forget about voting and move on with a small group that can interpret the word of God correctly and finalise this matter in an instant. Period!
DIOS NOS HA GUIADO COMO SU PUEBLO ESCOJIDO Y NOS SEGUIRA GUIANDO Y”no” en nuestras propias CONCUSPICENCIAS sino en SU PALABRA q es SEGURA Y SANTA.El hombre PASTOR, la mujer amada “DIACONOSA” “DORCA”
I think that the seventh day adventist church has lost its way and the whole Christian concept and fellowship has almost dissapeared, the bible is very clear in its commands
and God’s law does not change. No to women’s ordinances, No to homosexuals in
positions, No to marry these “couples”. The church nowadays just wants our money and
has become very secular, just “go with the flow” and by this I mean with what the world wants. God wants men and women whom wont be bought or sold just to keep the WORLD happy. That’s why church is losing members people are not stupid. The General Conference
has managed to ridicule sister Ellen G. White and God as well, well done FAITHFUL servant!!! Satan must be very happy as your new leader.
Margaret, the General Conference is doing a mighty work spreading the writings of Ellen G. White. The current GC president shares his strong belief in this in the video linked below (he begins to speak about 10 minutes into the video):
