— Comment posting privileges are open. Persons supporting or opposing women’s ordination may freely comment.
— Post content is limited to 300 words. Comments exceeding this limit will be truncated or removed at the moderator’s discretion.
— Serial posting to bypass the 300 word limit is not permitted. A comment unit should be contained in itself as a whole, not being broken and obviously continuing in a following comment. An ongoing conversation is permitted but not a monologue. Comments deemed serial posts may be removed by the moderator.
— Posts may include links to articles on OrdinationTruth.com. Other offsite links are permitted by moderator’s discretion. Offending posts may be edited or removed at the moderator’s discretion. Moderator edits will be clearly indicated by bolded text.
The above system has been implemented in order to protect the privileges of persons interacting with this site. Denominational publications (union papers, Adventist Review, Adventist World, Ministry, etc.) have for years disallowed the publication of articles opposing the ordination of women. One of the objects in the creation of OrdinationTruth.com has been to enable Seventh-day Adventists to bypass this information blackout. Our purpose is not to publish error or to serve as a platform for the republication of materials advocating the ordination of women. Several websites advocating the ordination of women do not permit the posting of opposing views. In contrast, we permit this while respectfully asking that comments be offered within these parameters.
