Would Ellen G White support TOSC position 3?
At the very end of TOSC a third group arose which claimed to support the idea of male leadership yet argued that as God had accommodated Israel by giving them the king they requested, so the church should permit Divisions wishing to ordain women to do so in the broader interests of unity.
We believe that the brief Ellen White article that follows helps answer the question, would Ellen G White have supported TOSC position 3?

Friday Night Live… Women's Ordination
This Friday, June 5 at 7:00pm Pacific, Doug Batchelor along with pastor Jean Ross will present a new hour-long Friday Night Live program on AFTV to discuss a crucial issue facing Christian churches today.
The program will also be hosted on Livestream.com/AmazingFacts. You can also come to this page for a live link before the broadcast begins.
Many churches today are struggling with questions regarding the biblical role of women in ministry, more specifically asking, “Should women be ordained as pastors?” One body of believers currently studying this question is the Seventh-day Adventist Church. During Friday Night Live, Pastors Doug and Jean Ross address many facets of this important issue, while taking text questions from viewers. I hope every person will get the word out about this timely and significant program.
The program will be archived at Livestream for later viewing.

GC booths denied to CAP and ADvindicate
In this short video presentation, Pastor Stephen Bohr discusses the North American Division’s denial of display booths at General Conference session to the Council of Adventist Pastors (OrdinationTruth.com) and ADvindicate.com. CAP has published several articles addressing the question of women’s ordination from a Bible standpoint, but has also called for unity. One hundred ordained Seventh-day Adventist ministers operate the OrdinationTruth.com website. CAP has republished both GC calls to unity on its site which all unions were supposed to publish. However, no union in the North American Division has published those appeals as requested by the GC.
C. Raymond Holmes was a Lutheran pastor who was was determined to follow the Scriptures wherever they led. Of course, this led him to become a Seventh-day Adventist. Recently, Pastor Holmes served on the General Conference Theology of Ordination Study Committee. In the new article provided here, Doctor Holmes points out the fundamental question the church faces a month from now in San Antonio. The article is short but pointed. Every member of God’s church should prayerfully read this.
